About Us

Contatore Engineering is a well established engineering company based in Welshpool, specialising in the manufacture, maintenance, and repair of earthmoving equipment. With a strong history of training and developing apprentices, many of our team members have continued to build long term careers with us well beyond their apprenticeship years.

We are now seeking two motivated Apprentices to join our Machine Shop and Fitting Workshop teams.

What You Will Do

As an Apprentice, you will be supported by experienced tradespeople while learning hands on skills in a safe, structured environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting all requirements of the Apprentice Training Contract
• Following company values, policies, and safety procedures
• Attending daily pre start toolbox meetings
• Completing allocated tasks safely and asking questions to ensure full understanding
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, tools, and machinery
• Supporting your team and contributing positively to workshop operations
• Performing other duties as directed

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence
• Completion of a Pre Apprenticeship (advantageous)
• Forklift Licence (advantageous)
